Ok guys, I have something close to what you have. The CD and the Radio go out after 4 minutes of play. I took out the CD palyer and cleaned the laser, that did not help. Eventually, the screen went blank and I had nothing. I saw a posting on the board saying that if the Nav computer is bad, it will eventually cut out your audio and video. The Nav unit gives video inputs to the video processor. I also could not eject my NAV CD on the MKII. What I did was remove the MKII computer from the rear. There is a posting showing how, I used allen wrenches instesd of the prong tool. There are two connectors and one bus cable at the rear of the unit. I disconnected the two connectors and I could here the unit reset. I reconnected the two connectors and everything came back on-line. I was able to eject the CD and now I have my audio back. I am in the process of cleaning the laser on the NAV unit. That is tougher than the CD unit. I still think it would be wise to do a software reload. I have not done that yet. I will let you guys know how it went in a couple of days.
