Subject: Re: Does the odometer work? new 'mother board'

may have not been too clear on my last post. if you take the instrument cluster apart you will find that there are 4 screws holding the speedo to the cluster. remove the screws and the speedo will pop out. behind the speedo is a "mother" board. you should be able to unsolder the board and replace it w/another. this is what i did and now it works fine. there are 5 wires connecting the board to the speedo. three are right next to each other and the other two are in front of two little round barrel looking things. i think those round things are the batteries. anyway i hope this helps.
