I'd say you have one or two issues.
We can say the clutch on the clutch fan has failed. This is certain. This is why the engine overheated, overpressurized, and blew the hose while idling. If the hose was not a name brand and/or was made in a third world country then yes Bavauto sells crap.
They do it because we, the consumers, are becoming cheap and in essence stupid. We DEMAND cheap products and then complain when they fail prematurely. This is not limited to the realm of BMW and is part of the reason our economy is in the toilet. But lets stick to your problem ;-)

So replace the clutch with a known name brand like Behr.
By 'coolant temp sensor' do you mean the one on the engine or the one in the radiator? If the one in the radiator then yes it was partially responsible for the overheat if this is why the aux fan did not kick in.

The other issue will be the possibility you have a head gasket failure and this is why the system over pressurised. Unlike the clutch this is only a possibility. The clutch is pretty much a certainty.
When you start the engine cold see if the upper rad hose doesn't get solid right away. If it doesn't you're probably OK but if iut does then you're looking at a failed headgasket.

I don't know the same things that you don't know.
