Hi,

I bought an E39 2002 525IT, it has its navigation and CD changer cut off. I learned a bit about BMW navigation and just about to buy a MK4 system on ebay and I'll try to fix the missing connectors. Maybe somebody had the similar project before? I would appreciate any comments and advice..
Is there anybody that has a similar car within 50 miles around 07661? I would give that guy a bottle of russian vodka to have a chance to look and photograph how wiring and electronics arranged in the trunk..
I have a 16:9 screen, it's blank but radio works.. So let me know..
Also, about the CD changer.. The perspective of installing just an OEM style 6disk changer doesn't look too attractive to me.. Is there any aftermarket MP3/USB/hard drive solutions available so I could see and control the music on the original screen? I would greatly appreciate you help guys..

Also, people say the video module is missing also as there's no picture on the screen at all

Guys, help
can anybody with a Touring make picture of the nav cable connectors, purple and blue? I'll try to make the ocnnectors on my own, but i need to see which wire goes where
I got a WDS, it has pinout but shows components a bit different than I think mine are.. simpy saing i'm lost..
