..the documentation that came with the AE's. I wired my AE's into the fuse box. Hot wire connecting to the red/white wire so they turn on with the key. Another option is wiring them into the corner lights, or even running a separate circuit and switch.

I would not run any wiring under the acoustic cover, but that's just me. I wouldn't want to risk having any kind of rogue electrical field running near the plugs.
