Words don't cover what I think of vandals.

The problem always then becomes the insurance company. I am in Europe and I don't know how insurance claims are processed in the USA. I have a brother in law in insurance here. He always has one piece of advice...

NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER accept an insurance companies first offer on a write off. Recognise that the insurance guy has one job in life - and that is to reduce the cost to his company. Yours is the opposite. It is a business negotiation and he is not your friend.

I had an e34 written off. Insurance offered €4200. I took the advice above and left the insurance company in absolutely no doubt that I wanted €6000.

I got €5400. €1200 improvement. Must admit, i think the cars real value was €5100.... ;-)
