I would really like to use the 5HP30 but I just don't see the EGS and M70 DME's speaking to each other. I am very surprised BMW held on to that 4HP24 speed auto for so long...., still would be nice.

Throttle pot Damn! I knew there was something... Wonder if one off an E38 750 would work?

My original plan was to buy an E32 750il and do a complete front harness swap with cluster ASC and the whole DME EGS from the E32, that way I could be assured all electrics would work. Only the fuel guage would be off E34 90L as opposed to the E32 100L tanks, still need to find a fix for that.

I have the two E32 air boxes for the filters, but not much space to fit them, maybe build two CAI air intakes.

Ultimate goal is to get it looking so "factory spec" that any stranger would do some serious head scratching as to it's origin.

I think about this project daily, but am so busy at work I have had zero time to dive in....can't wait

Now what could I do with the spare M60 lying around? Maybe fit it to the family Prius, wouldn't that be a mockery of green friendliness. hehe Never could get into green anyway, I love big engines too much.
