the guilt/apology song and dance when a black man or woman gets offended by something read, heard or seen? I get offended when I stop into my local barber shop and realize that the B, H and N word are still part of our vocabulary. I get disgusted when I hear the degrading music played on so many black stations. It makes me sick when the race profiteers continue to shake the broken, rusty chains of slavery and racism in this country.

Jesse Jackson wants to cut someone’s nuts off and it offends more whites than blacks. Paint JJ white and he would have been run out of town on the first train smokin'. Paint Imus black and he would have never lost his job.

As someone who lives both races and has lived on both sides of the tracks with Jewish blood and beliefs sprinkled in for good measure, it is blatantly obvious that the double edged race card is razor sharp on one side.

Race is like a delicate field of beautiful flowers open for anyone to walk through and enjoy, sometimes a person takes a step back and crushes a flower without realizing what they have done. Most of the time the closest person will say "oops be careful" and continue on. The person who screams "OMG you evil person, you killed a flower" is usually the one who is trying to destroy the field with public pandemonium so he/she can sell their own flower.

Short story, I was driving to Houston a few months ago and I noticed a very old white man on the side of the road standing by his Yukon in 100+ heat. I looped back and found out he got out to tinkle in the woods and locked his keys and phone in the truck. So we called AAA while he cooled off in my truck, ate half my snickers and drank my water. After shooting the shit for a while he said I would have never thought you of all people would have stopped. Of course I knew what “you of all people” meant but considering the times he lived in that was the norm. At that moment I knew I was giving and he was taking a very important cram session in people-ism and life. Anyhoo, AAA came all was well but before he left he popped the back of his Yukon and gave me a very old fishing pole that was used repeatedly by Jimmy Carter (I woulda preferred Reagan) when they used to fish together. He also gave me his card and said to call him when I got back to FLA and we would go fishing. Come to find out I just taught the world renowned trick caster Shag Shahid something good and the look in his eyes told me that.

Small pockets of racism will always be here worldwide and it will never go away, it's how we deal with it that counts.

This isn’t aimed at anyone unless you want it to be, I just figure this was the best place to put it.
