I disconnected my CSV sensor a month ago in my 535 because a friend needed some test data. I have seen no difference this summer. He noticed a 2 mpg mileage improvement indicating a leak at the valve causing a rich mixture.

I'll reconnect it when the cold start is not good. The 5 has always been a good starting car.
