OEM Bimmer Parts

Subject: Radio reception improvement

I followed Shaynes instuctions, noted below, and improved my reception a fair amount. It may even help my defroster??
FYI, I did the connections on the left and right side of the car

"Another problem is corrosion at the connections. Pull the left side C-pillar cover by pulling the door seal trim away from the cover then slide your fingers under and pull it towards the front of the car and off. Unplug the courtesy light and set aside.
You will see three or four connections from the diversity box to the glass.
Dab some WD40 or other lubricant onto the connectors and wait 30 minutes. Now gently, gently pull the connectors apart.
Use Emory paper or a finger nail file board and clean the connectors. Apply OxGard or similar to the spade and reconnect.
Check the connections to the diversity box (antenna and two power).
Put everything back together and test reception."
