When I start the car, its idle speed starts high and drops to 600 RPM, three to five second later the idle speed will climb between 700-800RPM. If I rev the car, it repeats, rpm will drop to 600 and second later climb.

I will do the voltage check tonight.

Area52, its difficult for me to back track. I purchased this car last Aug, with a bent valve. I completed the head work early spring, purchased the exhaust system, a few weeks after the work was done. Had major fuel problems, bad secondary pump, etc.

Last Wednesday night, I attend NJ Chapter monthly meeting and I told Mr. M & Vic about my problem. They said its a know problem, ABS, Brakes, & Battery light - they basically said just learn to life with the problem, its a cluster board problem. I have another cluster, I will test it tonight.

Lack of Power - Mr. M noticed I had my vac hoses connected incorrectly. I had the hose from the throlle body connecting to the fuel pressure reg. I made all the corrections this weekend, and it ran MUCH BETTER this morning.

Engine Running Hot - I purchased a new radiatior and external trans cooler.
