I did when I adjusted the valves, visually, and to feel if there is a wear ridge with my fingernail and all the lobes were smooth. On top of that I didn't mention that the air filter is still good. Another point is that the transition for this condition starts ~3500 rpm and is fully noticeable at ~4200rpm.
