Subject: i still cant get it to work, am i doing something wrong?

at first, i tried the wiring configuration like this:

6-pin CDC plug

pin color wire

1 white/red left signal + (?)
2 white/brown left signal ground - (?)
3 not used
4 white/blue right signal + (?)
5 not used
6 not used

the other end of this cable was hooked up as so:

10-pin plug (x01037)

1 white/red left signal + (?)
2 white/blue right signal + (?)
3 white/brown shield (ground?)
4 not used
5 not used
6 not used
7 not used
8 not used
9 not used
10 not used

didnt work. the result was just as before. i turn the volume up on the OBC, i hear the speakers get louder because i hear the noise/interference get louder, but no music. when the you turn the volume dial, it clicks right. i can hear that clicking noise through the speakers. the more i turn up the volume, the louder it gets. why is this?

second configuration:

6-pin CDC plug

1 white/red left signal + (?)
2 white/brown left signal ground - (?)
3 brown (extra wire i added) ground
4 white/blue right signal + (?)
5 yellow (extra wire i added) right siganl - (?)
6 not used

other end:

10-pin (x01037):

1 white/red left signal + (?)
2 white/blue right signal + (?)
3 brown (extra wire i added) ground
4 not used
5 not used
6 white/brown left signal - (?)
7 yellow (extra wire i added) right signal - (?)
8 not used
9 not used
10 not used

same result as the first configuration.

note: the extra wires i added, i used the new gen 12-pin plug, but i shaved off 2-pins of the plastic plug and made it into a 10-pin plug so it would fit into the 10-pin connection on the radio module. i took off the old pins on the 26-pin DSP connector plug and used 4 pins off that to add the 2 extra wires to the audio cable. pic below

what can my problem be? from all the research i did on the pin locations and which pin is what, it was not really confirmed. can anyone spell it out for me? which pin on which end goes to which pin on what plug?

thanks.
