Subject: Re: HELP!! Replaced DSP amp not working

ok i checked again and that mini rca cable i was talking about is the digital coax cable that runs from the cdc to the DSP amp. now since the DSP amp is out of the picture, how can i send the cdc signal to the amp directly or to the headunit and then back to the amp from the stereo preamp outputs?

i read that if the cdc detects that there is no DSP, it will send the signal using the 6-pin signal cable i was talking about in my second post. how can i find this cable or what cables do i need to splice or where can i run these cables from to connect to the cdc so i can send the signal to the headunit/amp.

note: the way that i tried hooking up the amp was like this:

coax cableidk where this coax comes from (headunit?)CDC
power sourcepower cableCDC

another note: the cdc and DSP amp were originally connected with a very long digital coax cable. i have completely disconnected that cable from the car. But there is still this other coax cable that is hanging around and that is the cable that i plugged into the cdc thinking that it reaches the headunit, but it probably is for something else and that is why my setup is not working. i know it is not for the telephone system because that unit does not have any connection that will fit this cable. does the GPS unit have a coax cable connect to it? this is so bizarre.....

headunitpreamp outputsamp via speaker level input plug

all the speaker/power/ground/remote cables are correct.

please someone help!!!! im going crazy, i dont want to think that i completely messed up my audio system.... thanks in advance.
