Subject: Help with 05 325i Sedan Bluetooth

Hi,

I recently bought a pre-owned 05 325i sedan with BMW assist and bluetooth (No idrive). Production date 12/04, first purchased in 2/05. I have tried to use the BT with multiple phones, but all of them have some kind of problem.

Nokia 6680 - Paired, but would not answer calls via BT, no phonebook transfer
Nokia 6133 - Paired, transferred contacts, then locked up the stero during a call. Had to get it reset at the dealer
T-Mobile Dash - Pairs, phone keeps rebooting during contact transfer
Sony Ericson T68i - pairs, but car shows LOADING PHONEBOOK forever

I have contacted BMW and looked at wireless4bmw.com. All the phones listed on their website with all the carriers are shown to be compatible with cars produced March 05 or later. Neither the dealer nor customer service is able to tell me which phone will work with my car. I'm ready to buy a new phone, but I just need to know which one.

Does anyone have a similar car and is able to use the BT features without any problems? Can anyone recommend a phone which will most likely work with this car? Is there any kind of upgrade I need to do to the car's BT?

Thanks
Jay
