BTW; just got 2 new cars recently; (in addition to the e34 535ia)

A 540i 'LE' 6 speed manual and

An ex-Japan 525i M50/5HP18 which I am converting to 5-speed manual. I don't think they ever changed the tranny fluid in this car, so the trans had to be extracted pretty quickly after purchase.

I am also to retrofit Cruise Control. After that it needs a new headliner- then it is ready for Mum to drive.

The two e28s have question marks over them as a result of these new aqusistions. I really wanted to make one nice 535i manual non-catalyser from them both- one has a good body and factory manual gearbox (no sunroof) and one is a late model 535i with the Captain's seats and all accessories plus a great M30B34... the space is the only thing stopping me!
