Its great to have a spare.
I too have a spare sent to me from another E32 enthusiast who has converted to normal suspension. I've seen some differences in the LAD internals.

In the pic, there is a L-shaped pin that goes through the hole in the LAD body and the hole in the lever while the ball in the body is just about to drop into the hole onto the bevel.

Adjusting the car height is done by adjusting the arm position in the slot on the lever. I find that there is no need to adjust the height using the clamp on the stabilizer bar.

Height from the wheel well to the 15in wheel's lower lip is 522mm +- 10mm.
