That's the question I came here looking for an answer. I've had the TV tuner amps inline between the existing radio amps and the glass. But my radio reception is horrible so I disconnected them. I didn't try installing them before the radio amps.
And I too hope they come up with a "cheap" fix for the digital conversion. If not, the analog tuner is great for the DVD feed and back up camera anyway.
