that's an excellent trick, using smoke dectors to check CO.
IT WORKS!

I now have all my toys declawed ...so to speak.
the Civic Si got it's test pipe put back in permamently, so its set.
The 318is got the cat treatment which was a grind due to its misaligned in and out tube arangement .... BUT it picked up some power (maybe it's just the more active throttle response), and the milage is thru the roof!
Can you believe 28 in the city!!! On midgrade!!!
Of course thats with egg-under-the-gas-pedal driving, but still ....
I'll never sell these Bimmers ... I'm just too in love with them.
I actually spent less on gas in the last 3-4 days than I have ever, and I'm having more fun driving.

That pussy '96 Rav4 duty vehicle will never be anything more than an appliance, so it stays as is ... as if anybody cares about it anyway!
