I've tried everything over the last six months, now it's time for small claims (eBay purchase). For proof, I need to confirm that it is, in fact, the unit that's bad. I can pay the dealer for a couple hours of diagnostics, but I'm hoping some kind soul in the Boston area with an E38 and working MKIV will lend me 1/2 hour of time to swap this unit into your car and see if it exhibits the same symptoms. Any takers? Of course, all at your convenience and I'll travel to you.
