My brother brought me his special concoction of cleaning solution to try out.
A few weeks ago I had already first tried cleaning the yellow off by using everything you can think of from the local CDNTIRE parts store and even the tire and rim cleaner from the BMW dealer including acetone, gasoline, pain thinner. Too much work, scrub , scrub, scrub , nothing seems to work, each cleaner did a little bit more.

Arrghhh, tt seems that the yellow stuff is baked on with black dots of tar.

With the new solution he made up, I dab a spot with a cotton swab and wipe it off. See the progress. I was impressed that I do not have to resort to 3000 grit sandpaper.
