The photo was taken at a very good angle for this car. LOL
The paint is not original and it's time for another repaint soon... Some clearcoat is just starting to peel on the left front fender, and is gone from the sunroof. And she has her share of small dents and dings at this point...
The interior is pearlbeige the leather is all good, but some PO replaced the original power seats with manual. Luckily the body is pretty solid for a midwest car, but there are rust holes behind the front jacking points:(
I converted her from automatic to 5 speed last year (before I got her running!) She'd been sitting almost 10 years when I found her with the valve cover off (a broken exhaust valve, rocker arm, and a hole in #1 piston)
I found a used engine (119,000 miles on it) with a g265 bolted to it on ebay, and that's what started that odyssey.
I've probably put twice what she's worth into her in parts in the last year and a half, but she drives like a dream, and keeps getting better...
I've been through almost every system on the car at this point. I had hoped to drop on a fresh cylinder head this weekend,(another ebay find) but it will have to wait another week. I don't have the right size socket to tighten the big nut on the end of the camshaft. I've still got to order the HVAC actuators one of these days, another common issue with these cars...
And then I hope to ger her repainted later this summer.

Kurt
