Subject: New twist to 'green' motors, requires a question:

I live in Wisconsin.
Two weeks ago, our crook governor, who never does anything without someone greasing his palm, succombed to the pressure of elinimating emission testing of cars from 1995 on down. Well, actually he was told by his toadies in the Dept of Motor Vehicles that their dynos were failing at an alarming rate and had become too expensive to fix, and he needs the money to piss away on some worthless project - so he shut the whole testing thing down. Except for OBDII. So much for a greener Wisconsin! The whole emissions thing was just prooved to be a sham. Like I cared anyway.
Anyway, the good about this is that I can now remove the cats from my 540i as it will never be tested again. II procurred an extra set of R&L forward exhausts that I plan to have surgically altered to remove the cats and add straight through sections. (I also have found out that cats are worth between 20 and 80usd for their platinum, which will pay for the scrapyard parts)

The question is; How will the no-cats 540i respond, both in milage and power?
