Re: Any tips for putting in new shift cable?

Nevermind, I just yanked the whole console. The shift cable is now in, didn't even have to fight with the grommet through the trans tunnel too much. Now it just needs adjusted - It (the car) moves forward in every gear, so I assume that the lever on the side of the transmission is staying in place and when I move the shifter it's just feeding out cable and not moving the selector. Oh well, the hard part is done. I just need to re-assemble the console. (ugh.)
