Update and more questions...
I tried bypassing the radio amplifier by attaching a mast antenna and the reception was much better. So I assumed it was a bad amp and changed it. No luck. Now I find it really IS the tv amp antennas killing my FM reception. I take them off and things are fine again. Should have tried the easy (cheap) way first. My question is where the tv amps are meant to be installed. I had them inline between the glass and the radio amp. But, they could also be place before the radio amp. It won't matter in 6 months when there is no more analog signal but untill then....
I really only have the TV tuner for the DVD player and back up camera but having TV has that "cool" factor. Any word of a digital converter?
