Subject: The MKIII and MKIV are virtually identical from a car wiring/system perspective

The MKIII and MKIV are 100% interchangeable. So, the only thing you need to change is the MKIV itself.

Regarding Sirius, TV, and backup camera, only Sirius is dependent on a MKIV. So, get the MKIV. You will also need a recent "New Generation" radio module with Sirius support. So, I would recommend that you install the new gen radio plus the Sirius pre-wiring now, since you will have the car all apart. Then, you can just connect the Sirius module when you are ready to.

TV and backup camera are independent of the rest of the parts. You can add those whenver you want.
