E38 DSP 2000 with Nav and Telephone
is it possible to replace factory fitted speakers with 5.25" after market speakers (the only available brands I have are Kenwood, JBL, Pioneer and JVC).

E39 no DSP no amp only radio and amp combo with phone and MKIII nav.
as above details.

I am not sure of ohms and wattage of current speakers as it would be important to match the rating and values.

If I need to put a 4 chanel amp in E39 then I will cut the wires from radio/amp and power them through the after market amp??? by keeping the mids and tweeters from the factory source.

Any input is appreciated.
