I have similar problem with my 4HP24 tranny. It revs up to 5000 in 1st gear cold then shifts up hard. It helps puting it im M mode after 2000 rpm and back on in E. If I park it for some time lets say 1 hour it wont start in D or R before i rev it fo half minute in N or vait idling in N for minute or so. I replaced A packs becouse it was burned and I flushed with 4 liters of Dextron II 4 times now. It still comes out black-ish but nut like 1st time. Also last time I was replacing fluid I replaced filter on tranny. Please advice if the problem will disapear with more flushing or I have to disasemble the transmision again.
