Heys Guys,

I posted this on the E32 board also but just got one reply, was hoping for more and posibbly alittle more details.

My mother has a 1988 735i and the radio begun working intermittenly before finally stopping all together. It still illuminates but produces no sounds. My '92 535i did the same thing and I replaced the radio with an '99 E36 unit and it went right in. So I assumed the E32 would be the same way, but BUZZ! wrong! The harness is completely different. Is there a way to make it work? Has anyone done this before? I heard you can cut a harness out of a parts E34 or buy one on eBay. Anyone have any experience with this?
