1986 325e Erratic Idle

I have a 86 325e with just over two-hundred thousand miles. Last month I had trouble with and erratic idle; one month later I changed the idle control valve and the car runs fine. The erratic idle started after the car was driven for a bit and when I came to a stop, the car would idle erratic.

Hope this could be of help to someone. By the way, the valve cost about 179.00 at Bavarian Auto.
