DISK 1 allows you control from IPOD or headunit. DISK 2-6 can only be controlled from headunit, and DISK 2 is the second playlist in your IPOD, DISK 3 is the 3rd playlist in your IPOD and so on...

The GROM was the only interface that connects directly to the rear of your headunit. This is important because if you get one that connects to the harness in the trunk it will not work, because every interface out there was designed for Model Year 96 and later. Hence the problem is the wiring is not the same in the truck area as it would be in MY96 and later.
