Undo the clamp to part no 8 ( you will need to take off the 14 and 1 ) undo clamp to hose part no 10 , wiggle ICV up and off.

Because of Pos. Crankcase Vent, minute bits of Oil / dust get up into valve and cause it to stick open or closed - result is usually surging - if the ICV is starting to faulter - you may need to replace - I think Bentley give a Multimeter test - not sure.

Install is reverse.

Non return valve or check valve if we are talking the same thing...
