help, I was looking for a 36 for my college son but I found this (photo) in a drive. Looks very clean, no bondo,rust. ORIG paint and upolstery and yes even the das isNOT cracked. I didn't think these cars existed anymore. It is auto but runs well, 130k miles seems true, good air aftermarket radio. Texas clean no rust car,lord what a difference your climate makes. Anyway, is this a reasonable purchase, one could make this a showcar I believe just cause it is so orig. Does that make it worth a lot? wants 4k$ What are problem areas in a 79 auto, Should I even change the trans fluid? Some people say it will ruin it if it has been a while. Sort of pukey color but harmless enough. Pix of trunk is to show it is a bit dirty but amazingly solid. What do u guys think? daily drive or show car or headache? gold nugget or old shoe? I'll shut up now
