well when i was testing the relay it seemed real weak so i replaced it anyway. i picked up an O2 sensor today and will be swaping it out shortly. i stoped by the BMW dealer today and spoke to the guy there. he said i was headed in the right direction and the only other thing he mentioned was the posability of it being the trottle position sensor. he also said the it's about $170 for a dignostic but if i bring it in he'd hook me up for alot less. i'll post rezults of the O2 sensor swap. probly wont fix it but can't hurt to replace it.
