What was the reason for the Oz ban?
Here car dealers are petitioning for the ban and it may pass... they want to maintain their massive profit margins while ripping off the general public at the same time.
You should see the difference in car prices when comparing to the US. I live 500m from the US border but a car increases in value by 50% to 150% in that short distance because of that imaginary line. The US and CDN dollars are at par so why the disparity? All I can believe is greed.
Anyone who is up for it is bringing new and used vehicles from the US as I did with the wagon... it was half the price of an equivalent car locally even after all the duty, taxes, etc. when our dollar was at 60% of the US.
