Yeah, here are some photos:

MB Binz Ambulance

It's a wagon/stationwagon with higher roof and 3ft longer than a regular stationwagon. Funny to ride in. In front you feel like you're in any regular Benz passenger car. Sit in the back. It's weeeird because it feels huge :)

It has been reregistered as a passenger car now. Have some plans to rebuild it into a combined stationwagon (5-6 seater), cargo hauler and camper. Will see how the MOT test in March/April goes. There's a bunch of problems to fix with it and I've had my hands full.

-Hand brake needs fixing. Probably just a wire or two that's snapped off, but I can't get under it at the moment.
- Lots of electrical problems (boy I hate these Benzes in this area - but with time I will get them all fixed). Fixed the central locking yesterday which just took me about all day :)
- Self-leveling system acting up. Was sagging, now it's just stiff and bouncy like... Again need to get under it to find out what's wrong.
- Radiator fan clutch shot. Lots of $$$ so will replace for an electrical instead.
- Some idling issues when warm
- Transmission is crappy. Probably leaks oil and has some pistons that need refreshing/rebuilding. Easy to rebuild, but need that under car access and a garage to work in :)
- ASD was faulty, tracked down to some rusted away wires from the diff sensor. Now works. I like getting my soldering iron out!
- Exhausts needs welding/fixing.

Well, a bunch more to fix and do but limited funds and such makes it all take a bit of time. Wouldn't mind converting it to diesel later since it's terrible on consumption when you just make short trips around this island. Not too bad on the highway though. It's currently a 2.3 gas. Lowering gearing since it's a bit heavier than the original stationwagons.
