Subject: Disconnect the TrafficMaster

The TrafficMaster is plugged in in series with the blue connector on the video module.

You simply unplug the TrafficMaster blue connector (the one that is in the loom, sitting in midair, just next to the video module) and connect it to the video module (the video module is the TV tuner)

The TrafficMaster wiring loom is not made to the same high standards as the original vehicle wiring loom - it is easy to see which is the original vehicle loom, and which belongs to the TrafficMaster system.

You can happily disconnect the TrafficMaster and connect the blue BMW loom plug direct to the video module.

This may solve your problem: the TrafficMaster system switches the video away from the TV/Nav and generates its own video.

The TrafficMaster may be faulty, and trying permanently to generate some video 8but failing)
