Subject: E 36 M3 - Fan keeps hitting rear of fan shroud

Last summer my 1998 M3 Coupe had front end wreck. It was repaired by a shop in snellvile, anyhow. ... Over the last 3 months i have had to replace the fan as it keeps contacting the back of the radiator/fan shroud when the engine is under extreme torque. I have had the motor mounts replaced, the water pump was replaced I think about 3 years ago. Fan clutch is ok or my guy didn't notice anything and he is pretty good. So one of my mechanics thinks the core support is too close to the engine? Any ideas? The car has 80k on it.
