Hey all,

Yesterday the wipers moved very slowly, and today they don't work at all. They appear to be trying to move, ever so slightly, but no wiping action, more like pressing onto the windshield, especially the passenger side.

Both arms are tight on their posts. Could this be linkage, or motor? How hard are these to change? This is the '90 535i sedan, with 247k miles.
