Hey Rightheous,
Yes I would be interested in doing something like that in the spring. I have my car in storage and will be taking it out soon as the weather turns more favorable. I'm looking into the Koni replacements for my car, the springs are kinda up in the air but will be ordering the stuff for my car sometime in March.

We could put this together as a Tech Session if you're interested. I've never done this before, but know that some of the members of our group have done this kind of thing before. The Bentley manual can help a bit along with getting as much information about this kind of work before hand will definately help! My driveway is long, but only have a single stall garage and that's pretty packed with stuff. If we did it at my house, we would have to work out in the driveway. I have a compressor along with pretty much everything you would need for this kind of job. I don't have a spring compressor, but know that we could find that kind of stuff pretty cheaply or have the springs put onto the struts at a local shop for pretty cheap.

I would check into your car's self leveling system and find out more about eliminating it because there must be some type of computer control system for that and I don't really know much about how that can be tied into the rest of the car. I wouldn't like to hear that you are stuck with some type of code problem as you're car does a system check when you start you're car and as you're driving. I know that you can possibly get more information in some of the other forums including those with the 8 series. Let me know if you're having any troubles, I'll try to find out more information if you need.

-Eric
