i change those bushes for a past time and have never used cement on them im not sure wether you have changed one before but the only thing i have ever used is copper grease to get the dam things on belive me they wont be going anywhere also when changing the bush you dont need to take the wheel off or the bottom arm if you can find a car ramp to use all you do is unbolt the two bolts that hold the bush to the bottom of the car pull the arm down by hand then use an air compressor with an air chisel and chisel it off should take about 5 minutes then put bush carrier in bench vice find a socket or something that touches the metal rim that surrounds the bush and knock it out with a nice big lump hammer (note the position of the bush before you knock it out so the new one goes in the same way) clean inside of carrier wirh emery cloth or sand paper then smear a little copper grease inside. then knock new bush in or squash it in bench vice trying not to damage it . then smear a little grease on the end of the lower arm and start to push bush back on then use a lever bab to push it the rest of the way (this will take a fair bit of effort) once on bolt back to bottom of car. also the m series bushes are solid rubber last a whole lot longer and dramaticly reduce front to rear movement of the arm and make sure you have your wheel alignment checked it will probably need adjusting otherwise you will wear out tyres quickly
