Sit in their safe spot... :-( untouched for years :-(
Except for the pellet guns which I use rarely to kill off the mockingbirds trying to have sex at 12-2am.
One of the joys of having kids and other duties prevents me from going shooting. I have a $700 pistol that has never been shot, purchased in 99.
I don't hunt...never.
If I could I would go to the shooting range and put holes in paper. Think of it as a noisy dart game. It takes a bit of concentration to keep all the holes together.
My younger son is 13 now and I might bring him out. He loves to practice with the pellet guns (while I watch). I also let him inherit a pistol that my father had.
In the countries with tough gun laws, sure there are less random/accidental shootings but other than the military, who has the guns?
