Subject: DSP amp problem- Car was retrofited with NAV couple mos ago but

I did not recode the DSP Loewe amp to NAV yet. Audio works after I switch source after it shut off.

Making TV module harness and testing TV today- everything works but DSP amp still shut off as expected until I switch to another audio source ( as I expected until recode), but weird things begin after I disconnect the Loewe DSP amp, TV mod, PI CDC to rerun the wirings cleaner.

After the battery was drained, I hookup slow charger and TV module shows German instruction instead of English. DSP still show on the screen but no more sound (regardless of what I do).

I thought about doing cold reset/ disconnect battery for 15min then reconnect. This time TV instruction is back in English but the DSP is not showing on the screen anymore nor there's any sound.

QUESTIONS: (1) Is this normal for it th behave unexpectedly? (2) Is this odd problem will be solved when I have the Loewe DSP amp and TV recode by dealer? (3) What else can I do / check if these strange problem is not "recode" related?

BTW, car is 98 E38 with NAV retrofit with original Loewe DSP amp, newer PI CDC, MK4, TV module, and 4:3 display.
