It is highly likely your vehicle was a 2nd-hand import from Japan

The Japanese video module is very different.

To make the nav system work in the UAE, you need to fit a Mk2 or later non-Jap video module, and then fit the Mk3 or Mk4 nav. Only then can you read the UAE maps.

Anything else will not work, the Jap nav system is a totally different nav computer
