From what I can tell the Nokia 6310i may work well - anyone know for sure if it displays SMS on the nav screen/instrument cluster? Signal Strength? Message Waiting indicator?

May pick up an unlocked one from ebay - I think it will work with my Cingular/AT&T service as it's GSM 900/1800/1900
