and you cant go to the dealer and say - fix anything under warranty you find wrong - they wont do it. you cant even pay them to look the car over!!!

I think that we all should come up with a list of common complaints: the things you need to exactly say to the service writer to have the issue addressed:

for example, I noticed condensation in a headlight. they would not replace it. they stated it was a normal condition.

when I stated that there was water in the headlight, it was leaking, they replaced it no question!!!
we should come up with a list of the known problems, trans, radio, key remotes, dark nav screen, need I go on, with whatever supporting documentation and make it a "sticky"post for everyone to review.

my warranty is up 6/2008 or 100k, have 7 mos and 9k miles left. my goal is to have a 2002 i mean 2008 parts model year 2002 if you get my drift.

sofar, I have had 20k in warranty work done, almost everything is perfect with a few exceptions - shimmy at 55-65 when cold, after replacing rims, tires, align, sway bar.

since we have the warranty, 2002-3 MY 7 series up to 100k, we should USE it to the limit.

LETS MAKE A GOOD LIST!!!!
