that which your car probably has. BMW dealerships will not attempt to fix it and always say transmission replacement is required. I would recommend shopping around for the best price. I think there should be a class-action lawsuit against BMW for refusing to acknowledge this problem. I have heard of some people losing reverse as low as 32K.
