hey ed, yeah i painted the diffuser lens jet black to match the inserts and it does not effect light output and really makes the projectors with the HIDs on stick out.. really gets look in town at night. I should post some updated pics, I just had the old tint removed, now the car is 5% vlt all around, its quite mysterious looking and its funny to watch people look at the car really hard to see if they can see whose inside. I love it!

oc740i - do the HID upgrade, you will not regret it, the output is awesome. I'm considering doing HIDs for the high beams now, and possibly the fogs.
