This is a 1976 BMW 2002 , second owner restoration began in Feb. 1995. The car has a factory rebuilt motor 2.0 liter(1987 date stamp on head and block) , 32/36 Weber, Stahl header, ANSA free flow exhaust, converted 5 speed transmission, Eibachs Sport Spring , Bilstein Sport Shocks, and 320i Recaro seats. I have replaced the head liner and carpet on the inside. Front disk upgrade including 320i vented rotors, 320i hub, and Volvo Calipers.

The car is 31 years old and the restoration was done in 1995 so its got some rust around the car now. I had a body shop replaced the driver’s floor pan in 1995 but its has since rusted out again. (they did not used any rust proofing) However I have ordered and received a new floor pan that need to be installed The car is mechanically great. I have enjoyed it for over 12 10 years but I do not have time to drive it or keep it up so I am hoping that someone is looking for a great car to tinker with.

Please have in mind that this car is not perfect. It is a daily driver and it is complete, but due to the age of car, perfection can't be expected. Although the paint does have some shine to it, it is far from fresh and it is pitted and scratched throughout! The chrome is in very good shape with minor blemishes. Being the body is 31 years old, it will have imperfections, but I feel that this car would be a great restoration candidate.
