You will need to remove the harness in your trunk that currently has the brown and blue MKI plugs, and replace that with the harness PN 61,12-6 907 840 that has the MKIV's blue and burgundy plugs.

Unless you also have a new TV/Video module, you will not need the TV harness PN 61.12-8 381 219 that you bought. Hold on to that for another time. However, you will need to connect the blue plug in the car's wiring directly to the MKIV. You will not need the blue plug on the -840 harness. When you add a compatible TV module, then you will use hte -219 harness and both of the blue plugs you have.
